structural engineering and structural testing.
|
 |
- Our products are compliant with the Uniform Building Code, and
is recognized as a component to enhance energy efficiency of
buildings to qualify for Leadership in Energy &
Environmental Design (LEED).
|
 |
The System...
|
- The Seismic Retrofit (SR) systems comes in a variety of
configurations to provide enhancement to the existing
structure structural system.
|
- With SR Systems the existing building walls remain
intact, with significantly enhanced structural performance to
resist seismic events or other lateral loading.
|
- The SR System utilize cellular plastic to anchor existing
unreinforced walls to metal studs or other structural
reinforcement. Our products are specially tested and
have typical factors of safety that exceed 30 for wall
anchorage.
|
| Although the SR systems has value added
features like noise reduction, highly insulative properties, its
primary purpose is to enhance the structural integrity of building
to make them safer.
|
| In addition, Seismic Rehab LLC has exclusive
rights to install the Masonry Composite Earthquake Rehab System in the United States.
The MCE Rehab System is an innovative new system to provide strengthening
to existing clay tile, unreinforced brick, stone and concrete materials for
seismic and other structural applications.
|
| The MCE Rehab Systems utilizes a special cellular plastic that adheres to masonry walls and provides strength, ductility,
and energy absorption to an otherwise brittle, unreinforced wall
material. This method eliminates many of the drawbacks associated with more
conventional repair techniques. The clear advantage to this system is that
the existing structure can remain intact, with enhanced structural
capacity. (Patent
